For the longest time, we’ve been taught that looking “professional” means a blazer, trousers, or a formal suit. But who decided that professionalism has to look a certain way?

I’m the founder of Saachi Sarees, and after over 20 years in the corporate world and recruiting, I’ve experienced firsthand how much our clothes influence the way we show up at work.

For me, the saree was never just traditional wear. It was confidence, identity, elegance and strength — and I wanted to see it become a natural part of the modern work wardrobe.

That’s how Saachi Sarees was born, with one simple mission: Normalising Sarees at Work.

We curate sarees that are designed for the woman who leads meetings, meets clients, builds businesses, manages teams, makes decisions — and wants to do all of it in a saree.

Because being professional doesn’t have to mean dressing like everyone else.
